Electronic filing discounts slightly reduced


On 13 May 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine revised the fee reductions available for electronic IP filings.

For certain electronically filed applications, applicants must now pay 90% of the standard fee instead of the previous 75% to 80%. The electronic filing fee for a trademark application has therefore increased from UAH 3,200 to UAH 3,600 per class. Fees for electronically filed patent and industrial design applications have also increased.

The government stated that the adjustment is intended to support the sustainable operation and further digital modernization of Ukraine’s IP system.

The resolution also introduces reduced official fees for eligible veteran-owned businesses. These businesses will pay 50% of the standard fees for trademark and geographical indication procedures and 25% for certain patent and design matters.
