Kurdistan IP Office Closure


The Department of Trademark Registration, under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, has announced a temporary suspension of its operations. The office will be closed from December 15, 2025, until January 11, 2026, during which time no new filings or pending trademark applications will be processed.

Applicants and agents are advised to plan their filings accordingly and anticipate potential delays in examination, publication, and other procedural matters following this period.
