Accession to the Vienna Agreement


The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify the deposit by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on November 10, 2025, of its instrument of accession to the Vienna Agreement Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks, done at Vienna on June 12, 1973, as amended on October 1, 1985 (Vienna Agreement).

The Vienna Agreement will enter into force, with respect to the Islamic Republic of Iran, on February 10, 2026.
